He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering and a Master’s degree in engineering from California State Polytechnic University. Later on he obtained a PhD and a Master’s degree in health psychology and behavioral medicine from NorthCentral University. After graduating from California State Polytechnic, Curtis Cripe started a fruitful aerospace engineering profession. As a systems engineer, he has been a member of the team that attained the first Mars landing from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. Later on he has been involved in managing software development for Defense Department projects.

Gradually, Curtis Cripe wanted to move to a completely different field and thus he entered the field of behavioral medicine. He formed the Crossroads Institute, conducted a skilled network that stretched move than twelve locations in several states. The Crossroads Institute offered therapies for children with autism, learning disabilities, and other developmental problems, and also offered treatments for adults experiencing despair, nervousness, head injuries and substance abuse. The institute’s philosophy highlighted the mind-body association and that it functions under mechanical and l biological laws, and designed its treatments consequently.

He has written articles in the field of Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine which has appeared in several peer-reviewed periodicals. In addition, he has donated material to several books. His article regarding the use of LENS unit has been published in the year 2006 in the Journal of Neurotherapy. Apart from this another article of Dr. Cripe has been published in the year 2006 which includes the information about Reactive Attachment Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and ADD/ADHD. In the year 2014 an article related to substance abuse recovery has been published. All of his articles have been received well among the common masses.

Additionally, Dr. Cripe is the author of 2 chapters, 2 peer-reviewed papers, and a lifetime member of a non-profit organization, the Golden Key International Honor Society.
